Speaking & Writing

I’ve been featured on top golf podcasts such as the On the Mark by CBS broadcaster Mark Immelman, the Mental Golf Show by mid-amateur finalist Josh Nichols, and the Foretheladies podcast.

I appear regularly on the Art & Science of Leadership podcast, where I provide insights from sport & performance psychology in leadership and organizational performance.

Other examples include the Peak Performance Psychiatry podcast, the Mindful Sport Performance podcast, Thoughts on Record, and the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation.

Recent invited speaking engagements include the Mid-Atlantic PGA and The Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University.

I was recently featured by Baltimore Magazine as a local expert.

My book, Train Your Brain to Beat Chronic Pain, features neuroscience-based strategies to recover from chronic pain and flourish in the process. I help golfers with pain and injury concerns optimize their mind-body health and confidently get back in the game. My writing has also appeared in Mindful Magazine and Greater Good. I have authored or co-authored over 20 academic papers on sport, positive and health psychology topics. I explore a variety topics in sport psychology and mind-body health on my Psychology Today blog, Think Better, Play Better.
